COMEDIAN. STORYTELLER. COMMUNICATION EXPERT.

Meet
Charity
Jones.

I use humor, heart, and a little bit of real talk to bring people together, lighten the load, and leave audiences feeling seen, heard, and laughing.

⌁ THE HEART
BEHIND THE HUMOR

I tell stories.

I start conversations.

I help people connect.

I’ve always believed that the best things in life happen when people come together.

I love making introductions, building relationships, creating opportunities, and watching great ideas turn into experiences. Whether it’s producing an event, sharing a laugh from the stage, supporting a nonprofit, or facilitating collaborations, I find joy in bringing people together and helping them succeed.

Comedy has become one of my favorite ways to do that. There’s something special about a room full of strangers leaving as friends after sharing an evening of laughter. Performing stand-up has opened doors I never imagined, allowing me to perform at iconic venues such as Gotham Comedy Club, Wiseguys Las Vegas, and Mic Drop Comedy, while reminding me that laughter is one of the quickest ways to build connection.

BACKGROUND

Long before I stepped on stage, I spent 15 years as a speech-language pathologist helping clients find their voice and working alongside families and service providers to navigate communication challenges. I also served as an adjunct professor at the University of Arkansas. Those experiences continue to shape everything I do today. Whether I’m emceeing an event, helping a professional communicate with confidence, or creating space for people to feel heard, my passion has always been helping others connect.

Over the years, that passion naturally grew into producing events and supporting nonprofits. I’ve served on nonprofit boards, managed social media, built community partnerships, organized fundraisers, and discovered that I genuinely love creating experiences that bring people together for a greater purpose. Seeing an idea come to life—and watching people leave inspired, energized, and connected—is every bit as rewarding to me as hearing a room full of laughter.

PACE YOURSELF

At 47, life surprised me with a pacemaker. What could have been a setback became a turning point. It reminded me that none of us are promised the perfect timing to chase our dreams. That experience inspired my Healing Loudly journey and strengthened my commitment to living fully, taking chances, and encouraging others to do the same. I proudly embrace being “Over 40 and Fabulous” because I believe it’s never too late to reinvent yourself or build the life you’ve imagined.

If you’ve ever heard someone say, “Charity always knows a guy,” they’re probably right. I love introducing people, sharing ideas, opening doors, and finding creative ways to help others succeed. That’s who I am at my core.

Whether we’re working together on an event, a comedy show, a fundraiser, a communication project, or a new idea that hasn’t even been dreamed up yet, my hope is simple: that our paths cross in a way that leaves both of us better than we started.
